It was no secret that DIRECTV/AT&T pulled out all the stops when it came to its marketing for NFL Sunday Ticket. But one year, I convinced them to abandon their extra large VFX-heavy productions in exchange for 3 people sitting in a room.
This win-back campaign targeted past Sunday Ticket subscribers who had gone astray. What better way to patch up such a broken relationship than with a little couple’s therapy? In addition to coming up with the concept, writing, and assisting in creative direction for the spots starring then-Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, I also directed Luck in the accompanying radio spots.
